Steelhouse Appearance: 2019
Genre: Heavy Metal / Hard Rock
From: USA (Formed in 2012)
Formed by original members of Dio, Last in Line was created to honour the legacy of Ronnie James Dio while writing crushing new music of their own. Initially a celebration of the Dio-era anthems, the band quickly evolved into a full-force metal machine with its own voice.
Blending the soaring vocals and mystical vibes of classic Dio with a contemporary punch, they’re not just a nostalgia trip – they’re keeping the fire of traditional metal alive and loud.
A triumphant debut full of molten riffs and pounding drums.
Devil in Me, Martyr, Starmaker
Released just before their Steelhouse appearance – heavier, tighter, and bursting with confidence.
Blackout the Sun, Year of the Gun, Landslide
Still bringing it loud, proud, and Dio-approved.
Ghost Town, House Party at the End of the World
Last in Line hit the summit in 2019 and unleashed a set that was equal parts nostalgia, muscle, and class. With Campbell and Appice as the elder gods of groove and Freeman commanding the crowd with pure power, this was metal with a capital M.
Forum Rating: ★★★★★
Most Likely To: Melt your face with nostalgia and a fresh riff in the same breath

Overall Review
“This wasn’t a museum piece – it was a masterclass. Last in Line honoured the past while proving they still have plenty of fight in the forge. One of the heaviest sets Steelhouse has seen – and one of the most emotional.”
