📍 Steelhouse Appearances: 2014, 2015, 2016
🎸 Genre: Sleaze Rock / Hard Rock / Glam Metal
🏴 From: Carlisle, England (with blood from across the UK)

🎤 Band Bio

Falling Red are one of the UK’s true underground rock success stories – rising from the DIY dirt with nothing but big riffs, killer hooks, and enough hairspray to set off a fire hazard. Described by many as "The UK’s answer to Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe", they’ve built a rabid fanbase through relentless touring and pure passion.

Their music fuses classic sleaze swagger with a gritty, modern energy – and live, they’re all fire and fury, dripping with attitude and leather.

👥 Band Members (Line-ups varied over time, but core lineup includes):

  • 🎤 Rozey – Vocals / Guitar
  • 🎸 Shane Kirk – Lead Guitar
  • 🥁 Dave Sanders – Drums
  • 🎸 Matt – Bass (varied over the years)

💬 Note: Like many sleaze warriors, the lineup has evolved – but the attitude never changed.

💿 Album List

💀 Shake the Faith (2010)

Their debut – raw, rowdy, and full of bite.
🎧 My Town, Out of Control

🔥 Empire of the Damned (2014)

A step up in every way – bigger riffs, deeper themes.
🎧 We Escaped a Cult, Break Me

🧨 Lost Souls (2019)

Matured but still snarling. More introspective without losing the bite.
🎧 The Day I Lost My Soul, My Paradise

🏔️ Steelhouse Festival Performances

🎪 2014 – New Blood Chaos

A raw, reckless debut – full of snarls, solos, and sweat. They turned heads and turned up the volume.

🎪 2015 – Bigger Stage, Bigger Bite

Leaner, louder, and packing even more energy. The sleaze rock revival had officially landed on the mountain.

🎪 2016 – Third Time’s the Charm

By now, they were Steelhouse favourites. The pit knew the lyrics, the hair was bigger, and the crowd response was LOUD.

Highlights:
– Crowd-surfing chaos during My Town
– Rozey’s banter with the crowd – part stand-up, part stadium-rock preacher
– A mud-slicked, rain-drenched crowd still giving 110% energy 🔥🌧️

🧨 Overall Review

“Falling Red brought dirty riffs and defiant spirit to Steelhouse year after year. The very definition of ‘hard-working band,’ they proved that grit, heart, and a love for the stage can shake a mountain.”

Bring ’em back? Ych-a-fi if we don’t – the sleaze revival needs its torchbearers!
