Band Bio​

Formed in 1981 as a supergroup of prog rock royalty, Asia combined the technical wizardry of their members’ former bands with a more streamlined, radio-friendly sound that dominated the early '80s. Comprised of ex-members of Yes, King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and The Buggles, Asia fused complex musicianship with soaring hooks, anthemic choruses, and polished production.


Their self-titled debut became one of the best-selling albums of 1982, powered by the mega-hit Heat of the Moment. While their sound shifted across decades, their musical pedigree and stage presence remained untouchable.
