Hailing from Melbourne, Australia (and later rebased in the UK), Tequila Mockingbyrd brought big riffs, bigger choruses, and maximum party energy to every stage they hit.
Formed in 2012, this all-female rock trio made a name for themselves with relentless touring, no-nonsense lyrics, and a modern twist on classic rock swagger. Think Motörhead meets The Runaways, shaken not stirred.
They were known for being loud, proud, and gloriously unfiltered, delivering sets fuelled by punkish grit, tongue-in-cheek humour, and pure rock'n'roll horsepower.
Line-up has changed several times during their run, with founding member Estelle Artois on early vocals/guitar duties, later replaced by Baker.

2017 Steelhouse Set:
Tequila Mockingbyrd came in hot with their signature Aussie energy and punk-tinged riffs, setting fire to the mid-afternoon slot like it was midnight in Melbourne. They were brash, brilliant, and beaming – perfect for blowing the cobwebs out of your brain after the previous night’s beer-fuelled adventures.
