🎸 Band Bio

Revoker were one of the fiercest forces to come out of South Wales’ metal scene in the early 2010s. Mixing the aggression of groove metal with the raw energy of modern thrash, they earned their place as one of Roadrunner Records’ few UK signings at the time – and they didn’t waste the opportunity.

Known for pummelling live shows and a relentless touring ethic, they supported the likes of Rob Zombie, Skindred, and Machine Head, flying the flag for Welsh metal worldwide.

👥 Band Members

  • 🎤 Jamie Mathias – Vocals / Bass
  • 🎸 Chris Green – Lead Guitar
  • 🎸 Robert “Griff” Griffiths – Rhythm Guitar
  • 🥁 Jack Pritchard – Drums

(Jamie Mathias later joined Bullet for My Valentine in 2015.)

💿 Album List

  • Revenge for the Ruthless (2011, Roadrunner Records)
🔥 Standouts: Stay Down, Psychoville, The Great Pretender

🏔️ Steelhouse Festival Appearances

  • 2012 – One of the earliest bands to unleash chaos on the mountain. Their blistering set helped define the harder, heavier side of Steelhouse’s evolving identity.

🔥 Overall Review

“Revoker arrived armed with riffs, rage, and local pride – and tore through Steelhouse 2012 like seasoned veterans. A band that left a mark on Welsh metal and gave the crowd something fierce to remember.” ⚔️💥
