Alright butt, it’s that time of year again — Steelhouse Festival has dropped its 2026 lineup, and let’s just say… it’s an absolute riff tsunami.
Every year we say “they can’t possibly top that,” and every year, the Mountain looks us dead in the eyes and goes: “Hold my pint.”
So grab your wellies, your waterproofs, and your loudest mates — because Steelhouse 2026 is shaping up to be one for the Welsh rock ‘n’ roll history books. Let’s dive headfirst into this glorious madness
This year’s top-billing acts are pure power. We’re talking arena-level legends bringing their A-game to the top of that Ebbw Vale mountain.
THE DARKNESS – Back to save rock ‘n’ roll again! Expect sequins, sky-high vocals, and that Christmas tune echoing through the valleys. Justin Hawkins is still a national treasure — even if he’s from Lowestoft.
AIRBOURNE – Aussie chaos merchants ready to melt faces and spray beer over the first five rows. Think AC/DC energy with more sweat, less subtlety, and a touch of absolute carnage.
BLACK STAR RIDERS – Thin Lizzy’s DNA still burns through this powerhouse of riffs and Irish soul. You’ll be singing “The Boys Are Back in Town” whether it’s on the setlist or not.
The middle of the bill is where Steelhouse always shines — that sweet spot where discovery meets pure nostalgia.
THOSE DAMN CROWS – Wales’ finest export since Penderyn Whisky are back to absolutely own the home crowd. Expect singalongs so loud you’ll hear them in Merthyr.
MASSIVE WAGONS – Straight-talking, no-frills, full-throttle rock from the lads who make every crowd feel like family.
STONE BROKEN – Smooth vocals, heavy hooks, and emotional punch — proof that modern British rock is alive and kicking.
THE TREATMENT – Sleazy, swaggering, and soaked in attitude. They were born to play festivals like this.
Steelhouse has always been tidy at giving new blood a chance to shine, and this year’s newcomers are hungry for that main stage glory.
KING HERD – British alt-rock with stadium-sized ambition. Watch these lads – they’re about to explode.
MATT MITCHELL & THE COLDHEARTS – Heartfelt, gritty and packed with bluesy soul. Perfect Sunday afternoon vibes before the chaos resumes.
THE HOT DAMN! – Fierce, fun, and full of glitter-fuelled punk energy. They’ll have you dancing and shouting before you even realise it’s only lunchtime.
If you’ve never been, picture this: you’re perched on a Welsh mountain, pint in hand, watching your favourite bands tear up the stage while the sun sets over the valleys.
It’s basically heaven, but with more denim jackets and hangovers.
Add in the legendary Steelhouse campsite — where the after-parties go ‘til stupid o’clock — and you’ve got the perfect storm of chaos and community. Tidy!
Steelhouse has never been about corporate flash or overblown gimmicks. It’s about heart, heritage, and heavy riffs echoing through the Welsh hills.
The 2026 lineup strikes that perfect balance:
So get your tickets, pack your raincoat, and start training your liver — because Steelhouse 2026 is coming, and it’s going to be a proper job, mun.

See you on the Mountain!
