📍 Steelhouse Appearance: 2022
🎼 Genre: Symphonic Metal / Power Metal / Neoclassical
🌍 From: London, UK / Moscow, Russia 🇬🇧🇷🇺

🎤 Band Bio

Imperial Age is what happens when opera and metal go on a fantasy-fuelled quest together. Founded in 2012 by Alexander Osipov, this band blends thunderous riffs, symphonic arrangements, and multi-vocal operatic harmonies that sound like they belong in a cathedral one minute, and on a battlefield the next. Think Nightwish, Therion, and Rhapsody of Fire, with an extra coat of mythic grandeur.

Their music explores ancient legends, cosmic wisdom, and spiritual awakening – and they don’t hold back. Expect choirs, Latin chants, power chords, and lyrics that sound like they were carved into marble by druids with guitars.

👥 Band Members (Steelhouse 2022 Lineup)

  • 🧙‍♂️ Alexander “Aor” Osipov – Lead vocals, keyboards, composer
  • 👸 Jane Odintsova – Mezzo-soprano vocals, keyboards
  • 👩‍🎤 Anna Kiara – Soprano vocals
  • 🎸 Max Talion – Guitars
  • 🥁 Paul Maryashin – Drums
  • 🎸 Dmitry Safronov – Bass

💬 “It’s not just a gig – it’s a rite of passage for symphonic metalheads.”

🏔️ Steelhouse Festival Appearance

🎸 2022Fantasy Meets Fuzz

Imperial Age brought a rare symphonic blast to the mountain – a wall of sound that soared above the valleys. It was like a film score met Iron Maiden in a monastery, and the crowd ate it up. The harmonies were spine-tingling, and the visuals added full-on theatre to the experience.

Setlist Highlights:
🎶 Call of the Towers – booming opener that shook the hillside
🎶 The Awakening – layered vocals and metal majesty
🎶 The Way is the Aim – a massive closer that left jaws on the grass

🧨 Overall Review

“If you’ve ever wanted to watch a fantasy novel explode into symphonic metal on top of a Welsh mountain, Imperial Age delivered. Epic doesn’t even come close.”

Should they return? YES. Preferably with fire, fog, and a choir.
