📍 Steelhouse Appearance: 2017
🎸 Genre: Hard Rock / Classic Rock
🏴 From: Dunfermline, Scotland

🎤 Band Bio

Formed in 1968, Nazareth are the original Scottish hard rock warriors whose gritty sound helped shape the very foundations of heavy music. Bursting out of Dunfermline with a raspy howl and blues-soaked swagger, they rose to global fame in the ‘70s with a string of iconic albums and arena-filling anthems.

With hits like Hair of the Dog, Love Hurts, and Razamanaz, Nazareth influenced generations of bands — from Guns N’ Roses to Metallica. Even after more than 50 years, they’ve never let up. The band continue to tour and record with new fire, carrying their legacy forward to new ears.

🎸 2017 – Legends in the Mist

Nazareth graced the Steelhouse mountain in 2017 and delivered a masterclass in rock ‘n’ roll survival.
It was bluesy, heavy, emotional, and triumphant — everything a classic rock set should be.

“You don’t just hear Nazareth — you feel it in your bones. A performance packed with grit, heritage, and hair-raising harmonies.”

Highlights:
✅ Razamanaz brought the mountain to life
✅ Love Hurts united the whole crowd in one big singalong
✅ Hair of the Dog was as snarly and glorious as ever

💥 Overall Review

“Nazareth’s set was a time-traveling storm — proving that legends don’t fade, they just grow louder. With Carl Sentance owning the mic and Pete Agnew holding it down like a rock ‘n’ roll highlander, it was a powerful tribute to the band’s unbreakable legacy.”
