“We are the band who likes to rock the most!”
Formed in Tamworth, England in the mid-80s, Wolfsbane are the cult heroes of the British metal scene. With a punk-fuelled snarl and enough sleaze to make a glam band blush, they combined raw NWOBHM energy with a cheeky, irreverent charm. Their frontman? None other than the legendary Blaze Bayley, who later went on to sing for Iron Maiden – but never forgot his Wolfsbane roots.
Known for their riotous gigs, shout-along choruses, and don’t-give-a-damn attitude, Wolfsbane are the band your parents warned you about. And that’s why we love them.

Their 2023 set wasn’t just a nostalgia trip – it was a victory lap. Wolfsbane delivered pure energy, comedy, and chaos in equal measure.
They had us laughing, moshing, and screaming “I like it hot!” in the rain. If ever a band was born for a Steelhouse Saturday, it's these lads.
